Ex-IITians take political plunge,invite Aamir for campaigning

Bharat Punarnirman Dal has announced that it will contest 30 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming General elections.

Bharat Punarnirman Dal (BPD),a political party formed by the ex-IITians and the intellectuals in Kanpur,has announced that it will contest 30 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming General elections.

The party also declared its candidates for eight constituencies including four in Utter Pradesh,two in Delhi and one each in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh.

The party will raise the issues like rampant corruption and rising terror activities in the country during its poll campaign,a party statement said in Kanpur on Friday.

The party has invited Bollywood actor Aamir Khan to campaign for its candidates as the actor’s ideology matches with that of the party,the statement said.
