Four jawans killed in road mishap

Four army jawans were killed and 11 others injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a gorge in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Monday.

The jawans were on way to a forward post in Nowgam sector,140 kms from here,when the driver lost control of the vehicle which fell into a nearly 300 feet deep gorge,a defence spokesman said.

He said all the injured have been admitted to Badmibagh base hospital in Srinagar.
