Ishrat case: Accused cops seek missing papers from chargesheet

Accused policemen have sought some documents which are missing from the CBI chargesheet.

The policemen accused in the 2004 Ishrat Jahan encounter case have sought some documents which are allegedly missing from the chargesheet filed by CBI on July 3. The advocates appearing on behalf of the accused orally submitted before the court Tuesday that in at least six statements of the witnesses,there were several documents which are missing. Following the submission,special CBI judge asked the probe agency to furnish the documents. The next hearing has been scheduled for July 29.
