Man arrested for attempt to rape mother

A 28-year-old man was arrested in Bhiwani on Tuesday for allegedly attempting to rape his mother in Bhiwani district of Haryana.

The accused,Ajay,was arrested following a complaint lodged by his 55-year-old mother on Monday. He was produced before the court,which sent him to judicial custody.

In her statement recorded before the magistrate under Section 164 of CrPC,the woman had alleged that her son attempted to rape her two days ago. The victim,who is a mother of five,also claimed that because of her son’s ill-intentions,she used to sleep at her neighbour’s residence.
