Pakistani intruder nabbed

A Pakistani national was arrested after he was caught crossing over to the Indian side of the border by some villagers in Samba district of Jammu division,police said here on Saturday.

A Village Defence Committee (VDC) member,Yashpal,observed a stranger moving inside the fields of S M Pur village in Ramgarh sector of the district yesterday.

He informed other villagers and with their help nabbed the intruder,who was later handed over to the local police,they said.

Police identified him as 26-year-old Mohammad Asif of Sialkot border district in Pakistan.

Forther investigation is on,they said.
