Former minister in the Delhi Government Pervez Hashmi and former Orissa assembly speaker Kishore Kumar Mohanty on Friday took oath as members of Rajya Sabha.
Hashmi (Congress) took oath in the presence of Chairman Hamid Ansari. He will represent Delhi in the Upper House.
Mohanty (BJD) took oath in Oriya has been elected in place of B J Panda,who has since become a member of Lok Sabha.
Hashmi has filled the vacancy caused by Delhi PCC chief Jai Prakash Agarwal following his election to Lok Sabha.
