Ramdev trust: Solan MC,pvt body decline space for function

Yesterday,Solan MC tuned down our request for Thodo ground and today Murari market management committee also said a flat no to the trust after having agreed to facilitate the function at its hall. Its very astonishing to note why we are being treated with such hostility, said Laxmi Dutt Sharma,state incharge Pantajli yogpeeth.

The Trust third option now is a space booked at Sanatan Dharmsabha hall at Solan.

Sharma said that while on one hand state Chief secretary Sudtripta Roy had said there was no ban on Ramdevs entry to Himachal Pradesh,the Solan administration and police seem to have decided to create conditions wherein no one is agreeing to land space for functions.

Cong for probe into phone tap

The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Sunday stepped-up its demand for a deeper probe into alleged phone tapping of various political leaders during the previous BJP government. The Himachal PCC also asked for the lodging of FIRs against all erring officials and those who gave orders for the illegal acts to infringe privacy of opposition politicians,bureaucrats and journalists.

PCC president Sukhwinder Sukhu termed the phone tapping as criminalisation of administration.

The political leadership tapped phones instead of using its powers to interrupt phone calls of criminals. There should be a probe,which must follow with lodging of FIR, Sukhu said.
