Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road is likely to be closed for vehicular traffic on account of winters.

The Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road is likely to be closed for vehicular traffic from October 31 on account of winters,officials said on Thursday.

“The concerned including public and tourist and transporters are requested not to ply their vehicles beyond Gagangir on Srinagar-Gumri road after October 31 without checking BRO advisories,which shall be on their own risk,” Chief Engineer Project Beacon said in a statement yesterday.
