Thoughts2Bot: Learning through robots

Three tricity schools are going to introduce a new concept called Thoughts2Bot- learning through robotics - for the students of Class III to VIII under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system.

Three tricity schools are going to introduce a new concept called Thoughts2Bot- learning through robotics – for the students of Class III to VIII under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system.

The three schools to have adopted the robotics-learning exercise for the students include Millennium School,Mohali,Gurukul School,Panchkula and Saupins School,Sector 32.

The entire robotics kit used for developing various models in mathematics and science will cost each school over Rs 10 lakh.

The schools informed today that the teachers in their respective schools are being trained by the officials for the past one week. They also informed that the project exercises will be incorporated in the curriculum,keeping in mind Central Board of Secondary Education’s Concept of Learning by doing under Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation .

The three schools have tied up with a private company Techtronics Education (India) for launching the project.
