Former Union Minister and MLA from Ambala,Venod Sharma,on Sunday exhorted a section of the society “to come out of their homes and battle for their “right of reservation”.

Sharma, who was addressing a public gathering at the state-level Lord Parshuram Jayanti in Bhiwani, said,“Those sections of society, who have been deprived of reservation, will have to fight for their right and it could only be achieved through struggle. No right could be earned by sitting inside homes and for it a battle is must”.

Sharma, however, praised Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his Congress government in the state, saying: “At the Karnal sammelan,we demanded the right of ownership of land for those who were farming for several years and it was he (Hooda) who later brought a Bill in Vidhan Sabha.”

Numbers are important in politics. We have to knock doors of others for our needs and wait for our demands but if we discover our power of unity,we could fulfil our needs”.

Without naming Brahmins,Kuldip Sharma said,“Whenever you joined hands with the Congress it came into power and if the ‘Congress’ wants to be in power, your association will be a ‘must’ factor”.
