30 pc milk samples in Haryana fail quality test

Two persons have been arrested and taken on remand at Dabwali under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

About 30 per cent milk samples and 12 per cent samples of other foodstuffs have failed quality tests in Haryana,state’s Drug Controller-cum-Joint Commissioner G L Singhal said today.

The samples had been taken from various places in the state during the past few days,he said at a meeting of office bearers of Chemists Associations of Rohtak,Jhajjar and

Bhiwani districts at Rohtak.

Two persons have been arrested and taken on remand at Dabwali under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,he said,according to an official release here.

The department sealed 32 chemists shops at Bahadurgarh,Sonepat,Hisar,Dabwali and Kurukshetra and cancelled the licences of 12 chemists.
