Babri demolition result of pent up anger: RSS

As Liberhan Commission presented to government its report of the demolition of Babri mosque,RSS on Tuesday said the incident of December 6,1992 was a result of the "pent up anger" of the people

As Liberhan Commission presented to government its report of the demolition of Babri mosque,RSS on Tuesday said the incident of December 6,1992 was a result of the “pent up anger” of the people and to hold individual leaders responsible would be “political fallacy.” “To try to hold some individual leaders responsible for that would be absolute political fallacy and only a political conspiracy,” RSS leader Ram Madhav told a news channel. “I will only reiterate that what happened in December 1992 in Ayodhya was a result of the pent up anger due to the omissions and commissions of the government at Delhi. Their blunders … took the shape of the incident on December six,” he said.

Madhav said the RSS would like to see the contents of the Liberhan Commission report, which was submitted to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by Justice (retd) M S Liberhan 17 years after the Commission was set up. “In any case,Parliament will be in session (from Thursday) and the government is duty bound to place the report before Parliament. I think only then we can discuss what is there in the report,” Madhav said.
