Centre not serious about China’s threat: Mulayam

China is gradually grabbing land inch by inch but govt has become a mute spectator,says Yadav.

Alleging that the Centre is being soft towards the alleged threat of China grabbing India’s land,Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said during his tenure as defence minister no country “dared” to grab even an inch of Indian land.

“China is gradually grabbing land inch by inch but the central government has become a mute spectator,” Yadav said while unveiling statue of Kargil martyr,Manish Yadav in Garia Ghotara village in Bewar block this afternoon.

He said that when he was defence minister,no country dared to grab even an inch of Indian land.

Praising late prime minister Indira Gandhi,the SP supremo said she was a dynamic leader who did not hesitate during the 1971 war,which later led to the creation of Bangladesh.

Talking about the contentious Ram Mandir-Babri Maszid issue Yadav said,”When I was the chief minister of the state and a senior police official rang me to seek his instructions during the kar seva,I ordered to open fire,if necessary,to protect the Babri mosque and it was protected.”
