Lalu’s anti-development image helping NDA poll prospects: JD-U

We are set to benefit from the anti-development image of Lalu Prasad,he said.

The JD-U on Monday claimed that the NDA’s bid for a second term in power has been boosted by RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s “anti-development image”.

“We are set to benefit from the anti-development image of Prasad that has made it easy for the voters to prefer NDA over the main opposition alliance to run the state for next five years and carry out development of the state,” JD-U national general secretary Bhim Singh told reporters here.

“Everyone has a compelling reason to openly voice their support to the NDA government headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar given the state government’s successes in social amity, law and order and road connectivity,” he said.

The JD-U leader also ruled out fissures in the NDA camp with leaders of the two coalition partners mostly campaigning individually for their respective candidates and said that some leaders of the BJP have been jointly campaigning with his party leaders and vice-versa.
