Tricolour unfurled upside down in Aurangabad; three suspended

The tricolour was unfurled upside down at the AMC campus on the occasion of the Republic Day.

The tricolour was unfurled upside down at the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) campus on the occasion of the Republic Day on Wednesday leading to the suspension of three civic employees.

The flag was hoisted by Mayor Anita Ghodele.

The administration suspended three civic employees in connection with the incident and a case was registered with the police.

Deepak Kharat,Arvind Kulkarni and Vasant Patil were suspended by AMC Deputy Commissioner Vasant Nikam,civic sources said.
