Modi targets JMM-Congress-RJD: Helping infiltrators settle down

Addressing a rally in Garhwa, his first in Jharkhand after the announcement of Assembly elections on November 13 and November 20, Modi said, “The JMM, Congress and RJD have taken the policy of appeasement to the extreme and are bent on breaking the social fabric. These three parties are supporters of infiltration, and to get the votes of Bangladeshi infiltrators, they are settling them all over Jharkhand.”

Referring to recent incidents in the state, the PM said that when prayers of Goddess Saraswati are stopped in schools and when stones are pelted during festivals, it is time to understand that the situation has gotten out of hand. “When curfew is imposed, we realise how dangerous the situation is, when daughters are cheated in the name of marriage, we know that water has started flowing over the head,” he said.

Targeting the Hemant Soren government in the state, Modi said, “Jab ghuspaith ka mamla court mein jaaye aur prashasan usse inkar kare to sarkari tantra mein ghuspaith ho chuki hai. Ye aapki roti bhi chheen rahe hain, ye aapki beti bhi chheen rahe hain, aur ye aapki maati ko bhi hadap kar rahe hain (When the infiltration matter goes to court and the administration denies it, it means infiltration has taken place in the government system. These people will take away your food, your daughters and grab your lands).”

He said the “bad policies” of the alliance continue, the tribal population will shrink. “The security of both the tribal community and the country is under threat, hence this infiltrators’ coalition has to be thrown out with your vote,” he said.

“The truth is that government of Jharkhand has become a “mafia slave”. People are forced to migrate, but these people are busy looting money. There are no businesses here, but the business of transfer-posting is flourishing,” he said, urging people to vote out the JMM-led coalition. He asserted that only BJP can provide ‘Suvidha’, ‘Suraksha’, ‘Sthirta’ and ‘Samriddhi’, which is “Modi’s guarantee”.

Modi said that if the BJP is voted to power in the state, it will bring stringent legislation to return land grabbed by infiltrators.

Addressing another rally in Chaibasa later in the day, the PM targeted Congress, saying it is trying to “snatch” reservation meant for tribals and hand it over to its “vote bank”. “Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar ensured the provision of reservation to protect tribal rights but Nehruji opposed it. The Gandhi family opposed reservation till they were in control of power after Nehru. Now once again they have openly announced that they will scrap reservation for tribals. They will snatch tribal reservation and hand it over to their vote bank,” he said.
