Two persons were killed and 69 others injured in separate road accidents in Udhampur and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir,police said.
Two persons died and four others were injured when four vehicles collided with each other on Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Samroli,about 80 km from here,in Udhampur district.
The bodies were recovered and injured were admitted in district hospital Udhampur.
In another mishap,42 passengers were injured,two of them seriously,when a bus,on way from Rajpurbhata to Nowshera,skidded off the road and fell down into a deep gorge at Nowshera bridge in Rajouri district this morning,they said.
The two seriously injured were admitted in Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu and the rest were undergoing treatment in a hospital at Nowshera.
In the third mishap,23 people were injured when their bus fell into a gorge at Kharial Khud area of Udhampur district,they said. One of the critically injured was admitted in GMC hospital,they said.
