Accident kills 1,injures 20 in Shopian

One person was killed and 20 others were injured when a mini truck they were travelling in overturned in Shopian district of south Kashmir today,police said.

All the injured were rushed to a hospital where Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh succumbed to his injuries,they said.

The accident took place near Borihallan,55 kms from here.

Meanwhile,in another accident Khalid Ahmad Shah,a teenager,was killed when he was hit by a car outside his house in Badroo-Achabal village,72 kms from here,in Anantnag district of south Kashmir,police said.
