Asiya Andrabi is a hypocrite: Omar

Omar Abdullah ridiculed fugitive Dukhtaran-e-Millat leader Asiya Andrabi for seeking an Indian passport for her son so as to enable him to pursue studies outside the troubled Valley where academic activities have been disrupted because of the ongoing violence for the last two months.

Omar said: “She has filed an affidavit seeking an Indian passport for her son to go to Malaysia for studies. This is sheer hypocrisy.’’ He added this act brings out the dichotomy in what separatists say and what they do.

He said: “She wants to take her son out of the troubled Valley when other children are unable to go to schools and colleges.”
