Rajak, who lost the Jamui Lok Sabha seat, said besides party candidates, the meeting would be attended by RJD MLAs and MLCs to analyse the factors behind the party’s show. Prasad, who was in alliance with the Lok Janshakti Party of Ramvilas Paswan, had contested the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. The RJD had contested 28 seats this time but won only four while the LJP drew a blank. The RJD had won 22 seats and LJP four in 2004.

Both Prasad and Paswan, after the poll debacle, had admitted that breaking of alliance with the Congress was a ‘big mistake’.
