Lokayukta issues warrant against former BSP Minister’s aide

Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta has issued a warrant against former BSP Minister Ayodhya Prasad Pal’s aide Surya Prakash while directing the police to ensure his presence before him on April 19,official sources said today.

On a complaint that former minister Pal had a farm house in Mohanlalganj where some commercial activities were going on,Lokayukta Justice (retired) N K Malhotra inquired into the matter and came to know that it belonged to Pal’s aide Surya Prakash,who had a verbal agreement with the former minister.

However,despite repeated summons Prakash did not turn up before the Lokayukta.

Taking note of it,the Lokayukta yesterday issued a warrant against him and directed the DIG,Lucknow,to ensure the presence of Prakash on April 19 with a bond of Rs 10,000,they said.
