Security forces today busted a militant hideout in Lolab area of Kupwara district near the Line of Control in north Kashmir and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
Acting on a tip-off,a joint party of 28 Rashtriya Rifles and police busted the hideout at Chirdoori village in Lolab area,120 km from here,police said.
The recoveries from the hideout included two anti-personnel mines,two fuse mines,12 detonators,two IEDs,1.5 kg of explosives,23 kg of urea and 1 m of cordex wire,they said.
One AK rifle,four AK magazines,one pistol with magazine,one hand grenade and one IED switch were also recovered from the spot,they added.
