Pandit Organisations observe black day in Jammu

The Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit organisations marched towards UNO office to press for their demands.

Demanding that members of the Kashmiri Pandit community be recognised as internally displaced persons in Jammu and Kashmir,the community members observed a ‘black day’ and marched to the United Nation Organisation (UNO) office in Jammu.

The Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit organisations – All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC),Panun Kashmir,Kashmir Sikh Displaced Forum (KSDF) held a demonstration and marched towards UNO office to press their demand.

Panun Kashmir President Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said,“Kashmiri Pandits have an ‘inalienable right’ to the land of Kashmir and their first and natural claim on its territory cannot be bartered away under any circumstances.”
