According to meteorology sources here,the chief amounts of rainfall reported in cm are:Vaikom 4,Kochi Airport,Kottayam,Vadakara 2 each.Kannur,Taliparambu,Talacherry,Punalour,Chenganoor,Mavalikkara,Kanjirappally,Konni,Kudilu,Perumbavoor,Piravom 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 16,rain or thunder showers will occur at most places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Fishermen warning: Strong onshore winds from North-westernly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55 KMPH is likely along and off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours,outlook subsiquent for two days no significant change.
