The central government has announced the Aastha special trains for devotees from different parts of the county to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha flagged off an Ayodhya-bound Aastha special train from the Agartala railway station on Tuesday.
“Lord Ram is the symbol of Aastha. The prime minister consecrated Ram Lalla on January 22. The entire country witnessed it. People from outside India are also visiting the temple. Several devotees from our state have also visited Ayodhya,” the BJP leader said.
This is the third Aastha train that has been flagged off from the state. The central government has announced the Aastha special trains for devotees from different parts of the county to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Saha later wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Today flagged-off another Aastha Special train from Agartala Railway Station for Darshan of Lord Ram in Ayodhya & interacted with some of the pilgrims on board. I wholeheartedly thank Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodiJi for arranging the special trains for the people of Tripura. Jai Shree Ram.”
Saha hoped that the devotees would return to the state with the blessings of Lord Ram.
According to the chief minister, ministers have postponed their Ayodhya visits because of the huge crowds of devotees that the Ram temple has been witnessing since the pran pratistha. “We have been asked to visit in the first week of March. So we will go. We have a desire to visit the temple,” he added.
Earlier this week, Saha flagged off a special Aastha train carrying nearly 400 devotees from Agartala.
The special train with 20 sleeper coaches can carry nearly 1,400 people.
