The answer key of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) for level 1, 2 and 3 exams, held on November 16 and 17, 2019, is out. Haryana School Education Board (HSEB) released HTET answer key 2019 online, on bseh.org.in. It is available as pdf for set A, B, C, and D of questions paper. Using the answer key, candidates can calculate their estimated score for HTET 2019. To do so, candidates will have to first download it for the correct question paper set. Then, one by one, cross-check answers given in the key with the answers marked in the exam. For every right answer, candidates have to add one mark. There is no negative marking in the exam. Hence, candidates need not deduct marks for incorrect answers. Once marks for all the questions are added, candidates will know their predicted score. Candidates who have any doubts regarding any question or answer given in the key can raise an objection. Timeline to highlight any such issue is set, which starts from November 21 and ends on November 25, 2019, by 5 p.m. Any request raised after the set timelines will not be entertained by the commission. In case the objection is proved right, the amount will be credited back in the candidate's account. Merit list is prepared by the authorities, they calculate the score of the candidate by adding the marks of all the right answers. To secure a place in the merit list, candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks also termed as cut-off marks. Cut-off marks applicable for HTET 2019 category-wise are, 55 per cent which is 82 marks for SC and PH candidates of Haryana, for other candidates it is 60 per cent, that is 90 marks. For the candidates who do not belong to Haryana including the candidates from SC, PH, the minimum qualifying marks are 60 per cent which is 90 marks. HTET is a widely popular exam and every year lakhs of students appear in hundreds of examination centers. Candidates who are willing to be a teacher in government schools of Haryana has to clear the HTET exam.
