Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is inviting applications from BE and BTech students graduating in 2024 to apply online for the Graduate Engineer Training Programme (GET) 2024 and contribute to their business and ecosystem. Freshers with full-time BTech or BE degrees from any AICTE-approved institute in the fields of chemical, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation are eligible to apply.
As part of GET 2024, the selected GETs will undergo a training program designed to build requisite competencies for targeted job roles. Opportunities for GETs in Reliance span across areas including manufacturing, exploration and production, petrochemicals, procurement and contracting and new energy technologies.
The GET programme seeks to provide a launch pad for budding engineers by giving them training and exposure through a structured learning journey, a statement on the RIL GET 2024 website said.
GET 2024 Eligibility
– Opportunity to register for GET is open for the 2020-2024 batch of engineering graduates
– A candidate should be pursuing a full time engineering programme from an AICTE approved college
– Eligible disciplines: chemical, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation engineering
– Minimum 60 per cent or 6 CGPA across Class 10, Class 12, diploma (if applicable) and minimum aggregate of 60 per cent or more in engineering (upto seventh semester or graduation)
– A candidate with no active backlogs and no cases of detention will only be eligible
– Candidates who have not applied for the GET programme or the GET internship program in the last year are eligible to apply
GET 2024 Application
The last date to register for GET 2024 is today, January 19. Candidates will have to create an account first by visiting the official website – relianceget2024.in. After creating the account, the candidate will have to fill in the required details including personal details (names, email id, contact details) and educational background (marks obtained in qualifying exam, etc). There is no application fee.
Reliance GET 2024 assessment, interview, final selection
Shortlisted students will go through an online assessment. The students will have to appear for a cognitive test and a subject matter test. The GET 2024 assessment will be held between February 5 and 8.
Candidates shortlisted from the online assessment test will be called for a personal interview round. The personal interview is set to take place between February 23 and March 1. As per RIL GET 2024 dates, students will receive a final update on their candidature by the end of March.
All candidates will be considered under the general standard of merit and no relaxation in minimum qualification is available.
Pay and remuneration
IIT graduates will get a fixed pay of Rs 9 lakh per annum on their joining as remuneration and after one year the fixed pay will be increased to Rs 9.50 lakh per annum. Candidates will also get Rs 1.05 lakh per annum annual cash bonus after one year of training. One-time deferred bonus of Rs 5 lakh on the completion of two years post confirmation will also be paid.
Non-IIT graduates will, however, get a fixed pay of Rs 7.50 lakh per annum on their joining as remuneration and after one year the fixed pay will be increased to Rs 8 lakh per annum. The non-IIT graduates will also get Rs 0.88 lakh per annum annual cash bonus after one year of training. One-time deferred bonus of Rs 3 lakh on the completion of two years post confirmation will also be paid to the non-IIT graduates.
Only those graduate engineer trainees who successfully complete their training and assessment will be eligible for confirmation.
