The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on September 26 announced the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) tier-2 exam date for the 2024 exams. Candidates shortlisted in tier 1 exam will have to appear for the tier 2 exam. The SSC CHSL tier 2 exam will be held on November 18. The official website of SSC CHSL 2024 – ssc.gov.in while announcing the exam date also said: “The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.” The SSC CHSL tier 1 exam was held from July 1 to 11 and the result was declared on September 7. As many as 39,835 candidates will sit for the SSC CHSL LDC and junior secretariat assistant posts texans and 1,630 will take the data entry operator tier 2 exam. The minimum qualifying marks in the tier 1 exam for candidates belonging to UR was 30 per cent, for OBC/ EWS, it was 25 per cent and for all other categories, the minimum qualifying marks was 20 per cent. Separate cut-off marks have been fixed in SSC CHSL tier 1 for different posts – DEO, DEO grade A and LDC/ JSA. While the cut-off marks in lower division clerk (LDC) and junior secretariar assistant (JSA) for candidates belonging to UR are 157.36168, it is 139.68408 for SC, 129.44568 for ST, 156.61665 for OBC and 150.51731 for EWS. As many as 39,835 candidates are shortlisted for tier 2 exam of LDC and JSA posts and 1,630 candidates are available for DEO and DEO grade A posts.
