CHENNAI, July 10: Two persons were injured when an explosive item, thrown into the house of a head constable's house in the city, went off in the small hours today. The policeman's son-in-law and his sister-in-law were injured while attempting to defuse the `bomb'. Earlier, an explosion had occurred outside the house of the head constable, who maintains a surprisingly high lifestyle. Police are enquiring.
