July 4: Three notorious criminals, including a Chhota Rajan gangster, have been detained under the provisions of Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act (MPDA) for unleashing a reign of terror in the megapolis.
Police said here today that Janardhan Ramsharan Pasi, a sharp shooter of Rajan gang, was involved in recent gunning down of Patel brothers at Santacruz in north west Mumbai and various other crimes.
The other two criminals – Prakash Hariappa Jamadar and Shailesh Harkisandas Taylor – have also been detained under the same act and were lodged at Nasik central jail along with Pasi, police added.
