december 1: A kerosene stove explosion in Khandiya village, Neral left five dead and three injured. Altaf Mohammed Sheikh (32) was frying some eatables on the stove when it exploded, causing the house to catch fire in seconds. The dead have been identified as Noora Imam Sheikh, Siddiqui Maldar, Saddam Maldar, Farhan Maldaar , while the injured include Hamima Sheikh, Irfan Sheikh, and Rehana Sheikh.
