Aamir Khan loses Faisal custody case

The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate on Saturday rejected actor Aamir Khan’s application seeking custody of his brother Faisal.

The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate on Saturday rejected actor Aamir Khan’s application seeking custody of his brother Faisal.

As directed by the court during the last hearing, Faisal had filed an affidavit about his activities over the past one month.

After going through the affidavit, Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Shah ordered that “Faisal did not have to be in anyone’s custody and was free of any constraints”. However, the court directed him to regularly stay in touch with JJ Hospital authorities for his medication and other treatment.

Outside the courtroom, Faisal said: “Today, I have got justice…. As for Aamir and the rest of my family who wanted my custody, I would just like to tell them not to lose sight of their humanity and to adopt the principle of ‘live and let live’.”

Advocate S Vasid, the advocate on record for Faisal Khan, said, “Faisal is a free bird now.”
