
When it comes to promoting his films few can beat superstar Aamir Khan, who turned barber for a day to market his upcoming film ‘Ghajini,’ that releases on December 25.
The actor delighted fans in the capital city by treating them to a special haircutting session giving them the trademark buzz cut that he is seen sporting in the film.
“Who wants the Ghajini haircut,” the actor asked the a huge crowd which had gathered to get a glimpse of him.
The star threw a special challenge to Delhi’s girls by expressing his desire to give one of them the ‘Ghajini’ look but found them lacking in enthusiasm.
“No one from the girls want the Ghajini haircut. I want to cut the hair of a girl,” the star joked throwing the challenge to the crowd.
“Who wants to see my eight packs?” Aamir asked the crowd.
But when fans demanded to get the eight pack view, Aamir said, “I can’t do that. Only Salman can do that.”
The actor sang and danced and made the crowd dance to the numbers from his film before finally relenting by lifting his shirt to reveal his body, toned especially for the film.
The actor kept chatting with the crowd all the time, asking them questions related to his films, talking to them about his films, informing them about the peculiarities of his character in the film.
“My character in the film has a very short memory of about fifteen minutes. I was so engrossed in my character that I kept forgetting the dialogues. My director was very angry with me,” the star joked.
When asked whether the film was full of violence and massacre, Aamir said, “It is certainly not a bloody massacre. It is an action film and in the heart of the film is a beautiful love story.”
Khan, who usually speaks rarely was at his comic best entertain the crowd and even stopping in the middle to enquire about the score in the ongoing cricket match between India and England at Mohali.
“I love cricket,” he said and expressed joy after being informed that the India team was doing well.
When asked about his expectations from the film, Aamir said, “I hope audience love my film. We have made it with great hard work and want the film to be loved by public,” he said.
The two lucky fans, who had received the haircut from the star, were surrounded by media.
“It feels very nice to get a haircut from Aamir. I was waiting for him since 5 am and I am certainly going to see the first day first show of Ghajini,” said Shamsher after recieving a haircut from Aamir.
The actor, who is known for acquiring new looks for his character, has developed eight packs for this film and got a new hairstyle to match the character.
