MUMBAI, Jan 17: Act in time, survived a precarious passage from 300m onward, thanks to jockey Aslam Kader who acted swiftly, managed to come out of the bunch and won the CN Wadia Gold Cup, the feature of the 19th day of Mumbai Meeting held here on Sunday. Classic Winner, Star Supreme, put up a spirited show but had to be content with the runner-up spot.

The free skill contest was won by five punters. However, the first and second prizes were settled by draw. The remaining were given consolation prizes. Paintings were auctioned and fetched fabulous amounts for charity.
