GULBARGA, June 27: H T Sangliana, Additional Director-General of Police (Crime), has suggested that prostitution be legalised along the lines of the system in Mumbai and Calcutta, as a means of curbing sex-related crimes. Clarifying that the view was his own, he said a limited licensing system could be followed. November would be observed as crime-prevention month, he added.
