CHANDIGARH, Jan 29: The Chandigarh Administration has directed all its administrative secretaries and heads of departments to fill up all the vacant posts on priority basis, strictly as per the provisions of the recruitment rules.According to a press release issued here today, the administration has said that it will be ensured that no post remains vacant for more than six months in future.The decision was taken in view of the reports that the many vacant posts were affecting government work and hampering the chances of promotion of employees where the posts were yet to be filled up by promotion.
