CHANDIGARH, Jan 21: PGI has re-started the use of Adrenaline, a life-saving drug manufactured by Pharma Chemico Laboratories, Solan, which had been withdrawn after reports appeared about its toxicity.
According to A.K. Gupta, Medical Superintendent, PGI, "The decision to re-start the drug has been taken on the basis of the reports from three laboratoriesInfer India Ltd, Calcutta, IDMA, Chandigarh, and Drug Controller, U.T. We had sent the drug samples to these laboratories for analysis. H. S. Sethi, properitor, said that the firm had already recieved a communication from the PGI.
