It’s not only BJP sons who are on their way upwards in Uttar Pradesh. In the recently constituted UP state executive of the BJP, Harish Dubey, PS to Kesri Nath Tripathi, and Vijay Bahadur Pathak, PS to Kalraj Mishra, became executive committee members. While Kalyan Singh’s associate Kusum Rai and a host of other leaders from his camp made it to the committee, VHP leader Swamy Chinmayanand and sitting MP and former minister Santosh Gangwar have been left out. Gangwar has now been told that his name was deleted by mistake, and he is a member of the executive.
