FARIDABAD, October 28: Twenty-year-old Ganesh Ahuja of Sirsa, a former national cadet champion (1989 at Indore), won his eighth straight singles title of Haryana state table tennis championships when he beat local boy Jinender Jain 21-17, 21-18, 21-14 in the final here last night. The Haryana Table Tennis Association, in appreciation of Ahuja’s feat, presented him with a cheque for Rs 15,000.
Sunil Ahuja and Monika Singhal (both of Sirsa) won the boys and girls titles, respectively. Prizes were given away by B K Panigrahi, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad District.

Crown for Bal Bhavan
Bal Bhavan Public School (Mayur Vihar) won the kho-kho title in girls section of Delhi state level cluster-X inter-school tournament, organised by CBSE. The winners will represent Delhi in North Zone inter-school tournament at Gwalior.
