CHANDIGARH, Nov 25: The local unit of Shiromani Akali Dal has condemned the "pick-and-choose" policy of the Chandigarh Administration in granting certain basic amenities to some houses built outside the lal dora in villages.In a meeting of the party, SAD local president Gurpratap Singh Riar, N.S. Minhas, Harchanran Singh Sahni and G.S. Palia, alleged that the decision of the Administration to grant amenities to houses outside the lal dora in UT villages have benefitted only a few.They demanded that basic amenities be provided to all the persons who have built their houses outside the lal dora. A call to the Administration to check and stop further constructions outside the lal dora in villages was also made.
