
HYDERABAD, January 14: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is taking steps to provide Internet Access Nodes in all AP districts, in view of the projected huge demand. At present, the facility is available only in four centres, including Hyderabad. The department is also trying to posularise the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), which helps in quick downloading as well as offers inexpensive video-conferencing facilities.K Ramanujam, Chief General Manager, Telecommunications, AP Circle, says the poor quality experienced by Internet users currently will be a thing of the past once the `A’ type nodes are installed.
