An all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Vajpayee to review the public distribution system (PDS) has been put-off by a week and will now be held on July 25. MPs, cutting across party lines, pointed out that since they were to attend the monsoon session of Parliament from July 21, the proposed meeting on July 18 will force them to prepone their arrival in the national capital by three days, officials said. This led to the postponement of the meeting, they said.
