BANGALORE, July 24: A professor teaching ar Dr Ambedkar Engineering College was killed on the spot after he was hit by a speeding van near Nagadevanahalli in Bidadi police limits in Bangalore Rural district. Dr H M Satish (36), a resident of Kenmgeri, was walking on the roadside on his way to college when the van hit, police said. Dr Satish is son of H M Maralusiddaiah, vice-president, Akhila Bhartha Sharana Sahitya Parishad.
