The memorandum, handed over to the Administration by Association president B.B. Bahl and general secretary Ashok Bansal, says that the hotel industry is the most-affected due to the by-laws, as 21 of the total 22 hotels in the City have been resumed due to violations in the existing byelaws.

The Association has demanded framing of fresh architectural control sheets for hotels, which have not been framed yet ever since the hotel sites were sold in SCO sites. The Association has stated that since the hotels were running in SCO sites, they required changes to suit the needs of the hotels and thus a change in the byelaws.
