Kochi, March 4: Indian Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand and Russian GM Garry Kasparov battled to a draw in only 24 moves in their 10th round match of the Ciudad de Linares Category 21 Chess Tourney, according to reports reaching here.

The first match between the two ended in a victory for Kasparov in the third round.

Yesterday, Ukraine’s Vassily Ivanchuk, three-time winner here, defeated Alexei Shirov of Latvia in 47 moves in a ninth round match.
