Chennai, October 21: Viswanathan Anand, India's ace Grandmaster, would compete in the Fontys Chess Tournament scheduled in Tilburg, a town in southern Holland, according to a communique from TNQ Sponsorship, Anand's event manager.The Fide rated Category-18 tournament would start from October 22 to November 4 with November 1 as rest day.Apart from Anand, Vladimir Kramnik, Michael Adams, Peter Svidler, Vasselin Topalov, Peter Leko, Sadler, Zvjaginsev, Lautier, Leok Van Wely, Picket and Victor Korchnoi would be competing for honours in the tournament.For Anand, the Tilburg tournament comes after a period of rest and training and his last tournament was a Rapid Open in Spain in August last where Anand beat Kramnik and won the event.
