PUNE, Jan 31: In a volte face, former Pune MP Anna Joshi today withdrew his resignation from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and agreed to actively campaign for the BJP-Shiv Sena sponsored candidate Suresh Kalmadi during the Lok Sabha elections.``He (Joshi) has dropped the idea of contesting the elections as a rebel. On the other hand Anna would spearhead the election campaign of Kalmadi,'' BJP spokesman Prakash Javdekar announced at the press conference here today.According to Javdekar, Munde had a telephonic talk with Joshi last night following which Joshi had called on the Deputy Chief Minister at his residence in Mumbai, this afternoon. ``The talks were fruitful, as expected by Munde,'' Javdekar said.
