NASSAU (Bahamas): The locks at the Bahamas mansion where Anna Nicole Smith had been living were changed on Saturday for the second time in 24 hours, as a lawyer for the late reality TV star said he had retaken possession of the estate. Outside the gated mansion known as “Horizons,” attorney Wayne Munroe also told reporters that he had filed a robbery complaint with police over computer equipment and other personal effects allegedly taken from the home. He did not disclose further details.

LOS ANGELES: As Martin Scorsese’s The Departed prepares to vie with The Queen at the Academy Awards, the filmmaker is turning his attention to Queen Elizabeth’s great-great-grandmother. Scorsese and Graham King are set to produce The Young Victoria, a drama about the early life of the iconic queen, with Quebec filmmaker Jean-Marc Vallee directing the period project. Written by Academy Award-winning scribe Julian Fellowes, the story will focus on the turbulent early years of Victoria’s reign after she ascended to the throne in 1837, aged 18, and her storied romance and marriage to Prince Albert. Victoria ruled until her death in 1901.
