Another raped in Ahmedabad, by her guest

Weeks after the Bijal Joshi rape case here, an incident of a woman being raped in her house by a guest and then threatened has come to light. The FIR registered at Satellite police station says the 24-year-old married woman was raped on January 16 by 20-year-old Sudarshan Subramaniam Iyengar, who was staying in her house. The victim’s husband was in Vadodara then.

The woman used to work in a private firm where she came in contact with Iyengar. Now jobless, Iyengar was living in the complainant’s house. The woman also alleged that after the incident, Iyengar fled with Rs 20,000 from her

house.
