HYDERABAD, Nov 14: The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will soon have a website on the Internet, granting access to proceedings of the House and house committees.

Assembly Speaker Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, who reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing winter session, starting November 16, announced that the National Informatics Centre will prepare the website. Meanwhile, the winter session commencing on Monday, is expected to be marked by chaos, with Opposition parties readying themselves to take on the government on many a count.

Though the government proposes to push through a heavy legislative agenda, including the passage of 12 bills during the 12-day session, transaction of any substantial business appears unlikely in view of the charged political atmosphere during the last few weeks.

Beginning with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s fortnight-long US tour in September, several issues, including unprecedented floods in the Krishna river and submergence of the Srisailam hydel power stationfollowing collapse of the protective wall will provide ammunition to the Opposition.
